COVID Updates

This summer, we are excited to welcome students back to BLC! Things will look a little different, but we believe that with the necessary precautions we can all stay safe and enjoy a productive, meaningful event.

First, we will host BLC on the Queens University of Charlotte campus. They are committed to student safety, and they will provide these safety measures:

  1. Enhanced disinfection in high-touch common areas.
  2. Floor markings to manage social distancing.
  3. Hand sanitizer stations around campus.
  4. Disinfection supplies for personal space where housekeeping service is not available.

In addition, we will limit the number of delegates and create smaller groups. We will also require masks or cloth face coverings worn properly. They must cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin.

Single-occupancy rooms are available for delegates who prefer that option. [There is a $35 surcharge for this option.]

Before arriving on campus, delegates and staff will complete a health screening. Our staff will also conduct temperature checks and health screenings daily.

Equally important, you can take specific steps to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure or spread:

  1. For 2 weeks before BLC, monitor yourself for COVID-19 symptoms.
  2. Bring masks or cloth face coverings to wear during the conference.
  3. While you are at BLC, use the provided hand sanitizer or wash your hands with soap and warm water often.
  4. Stay 6 feet apart from other delegates and Staff while you are at BLC.

After you register for BLC, watch for our emails! We will send more information and updates so everyone can be informed and prepared!
